VANCOOVER, WASH. - Betty Pitts, also of Apache Junction, born Sep. 30, 1929, passed away on Mar. 29, 2015 in Vancoover, Wash. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. Betty lived a rich and fulfilling life. She was young at heart, enjoying adverse interests and hobbies including rock hunting, painting, quilting, poetry, politics, history and writing. Betty worked as an artist in Colo. for many years. She had a great appreciation for nature, often reminding her family to see the simple beauty of nature and enjoy simple pleasures of life. She lived life on her own terms and especially loved spending time with her family and friends at Coloumbia House in Vancoover, Wash. A strong woman of faith to remain strong and positive at the end. She will be laid to rest with her beloved husband, Cecil Pitts at Willanette National Cemetary in Portland, Oreg.
