Betty Ann Mohr, age 79, passed away peacefully on the morning of Wednesday, May 7, 2025. Affectionately known as “Betty Boop,” she had been a resident of Youngtown, Arizona, for the past 32 years.
Betty was born on January 29, 1946, in Clinton, Iowa, the third of six children. She married Eric Mohr and shared 42 loving years of marriage until his passing in 2005.
A devoted homemaker, Betty found joy in raising her family and volunteering her time to help others. She worked in child care and was known for her warm heart and dedication to those around her. Betty enjoyed Bible study, collecting poems, creating zipper art, and playing bingo.
She is survived by her daughter, Margaret Mohr of Peoria, Arizona; two grandchildren, Sean and Kyle Brandimarte; and her younger brother, who resides in Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Barbara; two sisters; and two brothers.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, June 25, at 1:00 PM at Virt Hall, LifeStream Assisted Living, 10800 N. 115th Ave., Youngtown, Arizona.
