Priority Financial Group recently announced the promotion of Susi Bennett of Mesa to president.

Bennett joined Priority Financial Group in 2017 as chief operating officer, overseeing the firm’s operations teams, which include learning and development, accounting and finance, human resources and project management, according to a release.

Bennett has been responsible for several initiatives to scale Priority Financial Group for strategic growth, including the firm’s merger with CUE Financial in 2018.

“Susi is uniquely qualified and her appointment to PFG president was a natural progression,” Chief Executive Officer Mike Prior said in the release. “She is a proven leader and veteran in the credit union industry who understands the challenges that credit union executives and financial advisors face to successfully navigate and manage change.”

Bennett has worked in the financial services industry for more than three decades with companies such as The Walt Disney Co. Prior to joining Priority Financial Group, she worked as COO for Desert Financial’s wealth management, insurance and estate planning divisions. Her leadership experience spans financial services from sales management, learning and development, estate planning, insurance and wealth management, the release states.

She holds the FINRA Series 7, NASAA Series 66 licenses, as well as life/health insurance and property/casualty insurance licenses. Bennett has a bachelor of arts degree from Grand Canyon University with an emphasis in business management.
