Benevilla Life Enrichment Programs waive enrollment fees

Posted

Benevilla’s Life Enrichment Day programs provide daytime care for members with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease as well as adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities or stroke survivors living in the West Valley.

And now, Benevilla, which has four Life Enrichment Programs, three with immediate openings, will waive the assessment fee until Sept. 30.

The regular assessment fee is $155 for Mary’s Place and $130 for the Helping Partners and West Valley programs.

“Our amazing Life Enrichment Day Programs provide respite for family members caring for a loved one,” said Lisa Minette, senior director of enrichment. “Caregivers need time off from the stress and challenges of caring for a loved one. For every person enrolled in a Benevilla program, two people get their lives back: the individual and the caregiver.”

The three programs with immediate openings include Mary’s Place, located at 14601 N. Del Webb Blvd., Sun City.

This is a secure facility for those experiencing moderate to advanced stages of Alzheimer’s and other related dementias.

The Helping Partners program is also located at 14601 N. Del Webb Blvd.

This is designed for adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.

The West Valley program located at 8133 W. Cactus Road, Peoria, supports those who live in Peoria, Glendale and Phoenix.

This program welcomes stroke survivors, those with Parkinson’s, dementia, and adults with intellectual disabilities.

All Benevilla Life Enrichment programs are designed to best serve member needs. Each program offers qualified, trained and compassionate staff and purposeful and engaging activities for mental and physical stimulation.

Activities are adapted for specific physical challenges to include everyone’s participation. With a focus on socialization, activities include cognitive stimulation through brain games, group exercise and activities, a creative arts program, discussion groups, public outings and interaction with participant-centric entertainment including singing, dance and memory challenges.

The program provides the therapeutic methods for increased levels of happiness and engagement for all members.

A specially designed “Essential Lifestyle Program” is tailored by an enrichment specialist and implemented by Benevilla staff. Members will also receive morning and afternoon snacks and a  lunch prepared fresh each day.
