Growing up in Roll, I was an active kid. After a basketball game, I always stood in line with my team, shaking everyone’s hand and congratulating them if they won. On my softball team, I always expected the opposing team to agree that the score on the board was correct.
And while running track, I never claimed the race was rigged for another runner. Not everyone shares the same values when it comes to elections.
Arizonans in Congressional District 8 have a good choice Greg Whitten, a proven fighter who wants to move our state forward. A third-generation Arizonan, Whitten has worked for more than 15 years to keep America safe, serving as a biosecurity expert. While serving at the Pentagon, Whitten cut red tape to get our soldiers and veterans access to Health care. That’s real leadership.
Whitten is running for Congress to fight for working-class Arizonans by protecting Social Security and Medicare, securing Arizona’s water future, and making sure that the ultra-wealthy pay their fair share.
As a Democratic voice in Congress, Whitten would work across the aisle to deliver results for Arizonans and would be a champion for the needs of the community he has lived in his whole life. He would work to expand our freedoms, and protect our private health care decisions by fighting a federal abortion ban.
