Barrio Queen to open in Surprise

Barrio Queen will soon open the doors to its newest location at 13434 N. Prasada Parkway.

The marks the restaurant’s eighth Arizona destination.

Barrio Queen will celebrate with a VIP ribbon-cutting event Tuesday, Dec. 5, followed by a public grand opening Wednesday, Dec. 6.

“We are very excited to be opening our Surprise location,” said Dallas Massey, Vice President of Marketing. “We are looking forward to being part of the Surprise community and bringing our award-winning food and drinks to the area, as well as becoming community partners. Barrio Queen is excited to engage with both large and grassroots organizations that have helped make Surprise one of the most desirable cities to call home in Arizona.”

Barrio Queen Surprise encompasses 7,863 square feet — 5,621 of indoor space and 2,242 of patio space. There is seating for 104 indoors, with an additional 20 seats around the bar, and 104 on the patio, with an additional 24 seats around the bar.
