Barrett-Jackson is gearing up for the annual Scottsdale auction Jan. 20-28, 2024, at WestWorld of Scottsdale, 16601 N. Pima Road.
“The heartbeat of our Scottsdale auction is, and always will be, the incredible collection of vehicles that cross our auction block throughout the week,” said Craig Jackson, chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson. “Our upcoming Scottsdale event is seeing extraordinary demand across the board with an unprecedented quality of consignments, and we’re anticipating a docket filled with exceptional collectibles every single day of the auction. In addition to the cars, Barrett-Jackson has grown into an annual destination where enthusiasts, industry titans and celebrities from around the world gather to celebrate this high-octane lifestyle.”
Headlined by Grammy Award-winning rock band Foreigner, Barrett-Jackson will kick off its Scottsdale auction with the “Rock the Block” concert presented by Arizona Lottery Friday, Jan. 19. Following the concert, Barrett-Jackson’s opening weekend begins Saturday, Jan. 20, with QuikTrip Family Day when children age 12 and younger receive free admission with a ticketed adult. QuikTrip Family Day activities include STEM Fest presented by Honeywell, which features interactive STEM exhibits for children of all ages and will launch Barrett-Jackson’s Gearing Towards the Future initiative, created in conjunction with the SciTech Institute. QuikTrip Family Day will also feature the introduction of all 50 contestants for the Barrett-Jackson Cup presented by Castrol – Barrett-Jackson’s coveted custom car and truck competition.
On Sunday, Jan. 21, the Future Collector Car Show at WestWorld of Scottsdale, presented by Meguiar’s, will take place at Barrett-Jackson’s Scottsdale auction on the polo field for the second consecutive year. This family-friendly concours-style event highlights vehicles that exemplify the future of the collector car hobby, celebrating both the cherished cars of today and the future collectibles of tomorrow.
Collectible vehicles and authentic automobilia will begin crossing the block Monday, Jan. 22, and continue through Sunday, Jan. 28. Approximately 1,900 vehicles will go over the auction block including a matching-numbers 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Split-Window Coupe that is one of only 199 produced, and a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle LS6 convertible with its original, matching-numbers 454/450hp V8 engine, Muncie 4-speed manual transmission and 12-bolt posi-traction rear end.
Attendees can also explore the expansive exhibitor marketplace presented by Swisstrax, enjoy a thrill ride or off-road experience offered by top automotive manufacturers, indulge in live music performances and savor diverse culinary offerings spanning the entirety of the event.
