Monic Yelin, Congresswoman Debbie Lesko’s outreach director, presented the award to the team Sept. 27, to recognize the efforts underway at the renowned institute to improve understanding, reduce stigma and support clinical care and innovative research to prevent or treat neurodegenerative conditions like Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases.
