Banner Olive Branch Senior Center food options

Banner Olive Branch Senior Center, 11250 N. 107th Ave., Sun City offers in dining, pick-up meals and food pantry services. Daily pantry available at no cost 11 a.m.-12:15 p.m. Monday–Friday. Call the center for more details, 623-465-6000.

The center staff recommends a suggested donation of $4 ($7 under 60). Breakfast is served 6:30-8 a.m. every Tuesday and Wednesday. Suggested donation of $4 for all. To go meals are now available daily for $7 per meal and are open to all. To go meals distribution begins at 11 a.m. Monday-Friday.

MENUS

Wednesday, Dec. 21 — Tuna noodle casserole, Italian mix veggies, carrots, fruit and soup of the day.

Thursday, Dec. 22 — Holiday meal, baked ham with pineapple, baked sweet potatoes, peas and mushrooms, and fruit pie.

Friday, Dec. 23 — Barbecue chicken, scalloped potatoes, collard greens, fruit and soup of the day.

Monday, Dec. 26 — Closed for Christmas.

Tuesday, Dec. 27 — Chicken piccata, roasted rosemary potatoes, Italian green beans, salad and fruit.

The center offers virtual online activities Monday-Friday.

Call the center for details on the virtual activities offered (activities include brain games, chair yoga, bingo and a lot of other fun activities that can be done from the comfort and safety of the home while interacting with the center’s other participants).
