Area residents and community leaders got their first look Wednesday night at a $400 million medical center proposed by Banner Health for the southwest corner of Hayden Road and the Loop 101.
The proposal is for 384,000 square feet of building space for a hospital, medical office building and a cancer center on 48 acres. The hospital is proposed at four stories, though plans do call for a possible fifth floor.
Upon completion the medical center will host 106 licensed patient beds and 20 observation beds, along with shelled space for expansion as the community grows. The medical office building will house physician offices, specialty care and other clinical services.
