Banner employees support Gilbert students with toy drive

The first thing that struck Brandon Mullins wasn’t the size of the boxes stacked around the room, but how effortlessly the staff moved among them, sorting, labeling and loading gifts as if they had done this a hundred times before.

“It’s a well-oiled machine,” Mullins said. “People have bought into this.”

That machine is the annual employee toy and clothing drive organized by staff at Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center, a campuswide effort that has grown each year to support students and families in Gilbert Public Schools during the holidays.
