Ballet Arizona welcomes back the 24-year tradition of free outdoor ballet performances for the community, including a return to Glendale.
In addition to shows in Fountain Hills, Goodyear and Phoenix starting in September, Glendale will host a Ballet Under The Stars performance for the first time since more than 2,500 people came to Sahuaro Ranch Park in 2012.
“For many Valley residents this is their first exposure to a live ballet experience,” Rachel Stern, Ballet Arizona’s corporate and foundation manager, told the Glendale Arts Commission during a meeting earlier this year at which the lineup was announced.
