As safety precautions allow for outdoor live events to trickle back into local communities, an evening of ballet is coming to Glendale.
Ballet Arizona will mark its first return to Glendale in nine years when one of the organization’s signature Ballet Under The Stars events comes to historic Sahuaro Ranch Park, 9802 N. 59th Ave., for an evening show on Thursday, Sept. 30.
“For many Valley residents this is their first exposure to a live ballet experience,” Rachel Stern, Ballet Arizona’s corporate and foundation manager, told the Glendale Arts Commission during their Feb. 25 virtual meeting.
