Baker turns home into a Cookie Mill

Decorating class helps mom catch bug that grows into business

Debbie George runs her business, Cookie Mill, from a too-small house, rather than a commercial bakery spot, with too few people for too many tasks: marketing, taking orders, designing, baking, frosting, printing, packaging and shipping.  

But she manages to do it by being highly organized and plain hard work from her and her one part-time employee.  

“I’m 10 people,” George said, “and she’s five.”
