The D-backs have eliminated the purchase of tickets printed out at home. We liked and used this method. Instead, they are demanding smartphone tickets purchased through the MLB app.

It always seems to be “what’s the newest technology for this week?” This has to get tiring even for younger folks. So, we reverted to buying our tickets at the stadium window the day of the game. No problem, right?
Because the stadium is always half empty. But then we get penalized for this and charged $5 extra for each printed ticket! Then they refused to allow us to use a D-backs gift card for buying our tickets. We’ve been going to D-backs games for 18 years with parking prices constantly rising.
Now, advance reservations for parking are required for the nearby garages? Again, with a half empty stadium. Generally, the D-backs are making it more and more difficult to go to games.
We all have to adjust to “progress.” But sometimes said adjustment consists of withdrawing our support and finding other recreational activities to spend our money on.
