Backyard Gilbert, the massive indoor/outdoor restaurant and sports bar at SanTan Pavilions, sold April 24, for $5.5 million, according to commercial real-estate website vizzda.com.
Entities tracing to Atlas Properties acquired the property at 1975 E. Williams Field Road, Gilbert, from an entity tracing to Tasha R. Halley. Financing included $3.05 million in cash and $2.35 million in new debt from Notre Dame Federal Credit Union.
The property is an 8,500-square-foot single-tenant restaurant building constructed in 2019. It sits on 1.62 acres and is zoned regional commercial by the town of Gilbert.
