I would like to start by commending Brian Reilly for another well researched and well written factual and civil opinion piece. I look forward to his contributions because it is obvious his sources are not mainstream media, they are the result of some serious digging.
I also suggest other readers of his work would be helped if they took just one of his many topics and do their own investigations. Some individuals in our community take offense to letters that defend President Trump and that is OK because that is your opinion.
Both sides of these opinions fall under the First Amendment. In a recent issue it was suggested that we should not talk about national politics in the Independent but should instead keep it fluffy and nice. My advice to all who read the Independent is; you can choose to read an article or not. I strongly disagree that the opinion should be “censored” simply because you disagree with the content.
