AZ gas continues to be among nation’s most expensive

Spring Break demand is playing a part in pushing Valley gas prices up, according to Julian Paredes, AAA spokesman in Arizona.

Peoria has a current average per gallon of $3.62 for regular gas while Glendale gas has a $3.57 average cost per gallon, according to the AAA website.

In early February, Arizona’s gas prices were among the most expensive in the nation at a $3.25 per gallon average as of Feb. 3, the website stated. At that time, there was refinary maintenance in California.
