Early results: Yassamin Ansari has large lead over Jeff Zink in CD3 race

Early results show Democrat Yassamin Ansari with a 73.3% to 24.7% lead over Republican Jeff Zink in Arizona's third congressional district.

The early results are not a surprise, as the seat — vacated by Ruben Gallego who ran for Senate — has voted heavily Democratic in the past. Gallego defeated Zink in 2022, 77% to 23%.

The first returns from the Arizona Secretary of State's office show 89,991 votes tallied, 65,994 for Ansari, 22,225 for Zink and 1,772 (2%) for Green Party candidate Alan Aversa.
