Join the Maricopa County Attorney's Office and the city of Avondale for an in-depth discussion about fentanyl in Maricopa County.
Learn from subject matter experts about the fentanyl crisis and how residents can work together to keep families safe.
The Avondale Community Forum takes place at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14 at Avondale City Hall, 11465 W. Civic Center Drive.
Modern Grinds will be there with a barista who will serve coffee, tea, hot chocolate, donut holes, pastries, and churros.
This event is free and open to anyone in Maricopa County. Parents, guardians, and teachers are encouraged to participate. Spanish translation will be available.
Naloxone (Narcan), which can treat narcotic overdose in an emergency situation, will be distributed after the event.
County Attorney Rachel Mitchell will be leading a speaker panel including the following subject matter experts:
Jeffrey Beaver – Maricopa County Attorney’s Office drug enforcement bureau chief
Lieutenant Manny Rios – Patrol Bureau with Avondale Police Department
Stephanie Siete – Community Bridges, Inc. public information officer
Todd Clever, MD – city of Avondale medical director
