‘Avondale-opoly’ game celebrates West Valley city landmarks, history

The city of Avondale has launched “Discover Avondale-opoly,” an exclusive board game designed to encapsulate the spirit of the West Valley city.

Crafted in collaboration with the city's marketing and public relations department and Late for the Sky LLC, this limited edition game provides an immersive experience with iconic landmarks, custom-designed currency, and unique property cards.

Roll the dice and navigate through renowned Avondale landmarks such as Phoenix Raceway, Friendship Park, and Sam Garcia Library. Acquire and trade properties that showcase the diversity and richness of Avondale, from local business districts such as The BLVD to cultural hotspots such as Old Town.

“Discover Avondale-opoly” costs $20 and is exclusively available at the Avondale Visitor Center & Conference Center gift shop, located at 11460 W. Civic Center Drive. The shop is open 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
