Avondale issues drought stage declaration

The city of Avondale has declared drought stage 1 of the city’s drought preparedness plan.

City Manager Ron Corbin issued the declaration after a recommendation of the City’s Water Resources Division.

This declaration does not affect residents, officials said, nor should they expect to experience any mandatory water reductions or shortage at the tap.
