Avondale invites residents to remodeled Mountain View Community Center

The city of Avondale invites residents to officially open the newly renovated Mountain View Community Center.

The event goes from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 7. The community center is located at 1007 S. 3rd St.

Residents can tour the facility and view the new amenities offered, such as an E-sports Room for gaming enthusiasts; the game room with activities such as pool and air hockey; the multi-purpose Room for various activities that promote well-being such as fitness and dance classes, and the arts and crafts room for creative individuals.

The ribbon-cutting event will include trivia, canvas painting, outdoor games, and video games.

The first 100 attendees will receive a free dessert. Concessionaires will be on site for additional food purchases.
