The Avondale Library and Duet: Partners in Health and Aging will host a workshop on legal concerns for grandparents raising their grandchildren.
This is a free workshop offered as a resource to the public on 1:30-3:30 p.m. April 29.
The topics covered in the workshop include the differences between the three forms of custody, how to get legal guardianship of a minor, what is non-parent custody or a private dependency petition, and grandparents’ visitation rights.
This event will be hosted at the Civic Center Library, 11350 W. Civic Center Drive, Avondale.
