Avondale hosting a health and resource fair

Annual event coming in March

Avondale’s Neighborhood & Family Services Department will host the annual Health and Resource Fair at the AZ Complete Health Avondale Resource Center, located at 995 E. Riley Drive, in March. 

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on March 5.

This free event is open to the public to showcase the human and housing services offered at the AZ Complete Health Avondale Resource Center. Services include assistance with AHCCCS, food stamps, cash assistance and Affordable Care Act applications, parent education courses, support groups, rental and utility assistance, nutrition and health education, and more.

Open house event activities include no-cost health screenings, family resource information, food pantry, facility tours, presentations, lunch, kids zone and prizes.
