Three school districts with bond questions on the Nov. 7 ballot bucked a trend as voters in initial results lent their support to the measures.
In the Avondale Elementary School District, initial results showed its $75 million bond question with an early lead as 55.4% of voters tallied were for the measure and 44.6% opposed.
The Glendale Elementary School District saw voters initially approving of a $40 million capital bond, a 15% maintenance and operations override, a district additional assistance override and the sale of a piece of district property. All three financial measures had at least 54% of the vote in early returns.
