The Avondale City Council approved a minor general plan amendment and rezoning for 8.4 acres near the southwest corner of Indian School and Dysart roads that will clear the way for the complex by Angelina Luxury Living.
Jodie Novak, director of development services for the city, made a presentation on behalf of developer Porter Kyle Builders LLC, which requested to develop a diverse housing options to include housing that is affordable to workers and close to job sites.
Council meeting documents stated if approved general plan amendment changed the land designation from local commercial and medium density residential to high density residential.
