The city of Avondale Arizona Complete Health Resource Center, in collaboration with A New Leaf, is inviting community members to become tax assistant volunteers for the upcoming tax season.
The opportunity allows residents to contribute to their community while gaining experience and networking with tax professionals.
Key details include:
Free IRS certification training: Volunteers will receive free IRS certification training, along with access to resources and materials.
Flexible hours: Volunteer hours are flexible and available from late January to April 15 (Tax Day).
Resume enhancement: IRS certification and volunteer income tax assistance experience will enhance your resume.
Professional credits: Tax professionals such as CPAs, CFPs, and EAs can earn free Continuing Professional Education credits.
No prior tax knowledge needed: A New Leaf will provide all the necessary training and support.
