Author hopes to help others in the Sun Cities

Alzheimer’s disease resources

Helping one another in a community is something residents in the Sun Cities are used to.

A Sun City resident authored a book called “A Thousand Tears,” which is in honor of her late husband. Ann Blankenship has been writing since she was a young girl, but never published anything, until now.

“After my husband suffered from Alzheimer’s and I realized there was a lot I did not know and I wanted to make sure other people would have these resources,” she said.
