At Arizona statehouse, you get what you pay for

OPINION — The Arizona Legislature underserves Arizona, and has for a very long time. Current legislators are the very bottom of the barrel.

While we have term limits, there’s a very big loophole that allows legislators to recycle themselves by running for the opposing house and then coming back.

Add the fact that many legislators don't face primary or general-election opponents and one can see why our state government is in a bad place.
