ASU West gets new housing, programs

Arizona State University West Campus is getting some long-awaited upgrades and new programs and the state’s largest university seeks to again expand its presence in the West Valley.

A new 500-bed residence hall and the new programs were part of a groundbreaking ceremony held Wednesday at the campus, 4701 W. Thunderbird Road in Glendale.

The move is part of what officials say are bold actions to help increase the opportunities for college graduates in the state.
