Esteban Ramirez was eight years old when he began combining his piano lessons with his own song lyrics, expanding his horizons and broadening his ability to “go all over the keyboard.”
“I was horrible at writing songs with lyrics,” Ramirez said, but when I began writing instrumental pieces, everything began to come together.”
Channeling his long-held passion for music and storytelling, Ramirez and his quintet will blend music, poetry and visual arts into a multi-sensory experience, at the ASU-Kerr Cultural Center, 6110 N. Scottsdale Road, Scottsdale, Friday, Feb. 14, at 7:30 p.m.
