ASU gets $39.8M for chip research, development

It’s all hands on deck for the microchip industry in the Valley.

On Wednesday, Arizona State University officials got a welcome announcement that should give leaders a chance to stay on the global stage.

The announcement — from the U.S. Department of Defense — gives a $39.8 million grant to the Southwest Advanced Prototyping Hub at ASU, the U.S. Department of Defense said in a press release.
