ASU expert weighs in on Sarver suspension

Phoenix Suns and Phoenix Mercury owner Robert Sarver has seen companies such as PayPal threaten to end their business relationship with the organization if the owner remains connected to the team.

Last Friday, PayPal CEO and President Dan Schulman announced the company “strongly” rejects the conduct of Sarver — where an NBA investigation found the owner “had a history of racist, misogynistic and hostile incidents” during his tenure as owner.

He has been suspended for one year and fined $10 million.
