ASU basketball marches into madness

UA seeded No. 2, GCU faces Gonzaga

The Arizona State University men’s basketball team has made the NCCA tournament and will face Nevada in an early-round game as part of the First Four.

In addition to the Sun Devils making the tournament, Grand Canyon University, a No. 14 seed, will play Gonzaga on Friday in the first round of the West Regional.

The University of Arizona was seeded No. 2 and will be in the South Region, facing Princeton as its first opponent.

Action begins Tuesday, March 14, with the two First Four games.

The full madness starts Thursday with the first round, with 16 games and 16 more on Friday.
