ASM to build new $300 million facility in Scottsdale

The new facility will produce equipment to make semiconductors

ASM International, which makes equipment to build semiconductor chips, is relocating it’s North American headquarters to Scottsdale with a $300 million expansion to accommodate growing demand for research and development.

The new facility will be 250,000 square feet and will accommodate 1,250 employees.

The building will be located near the intersection of North Scottsdale Road and the Loop 101 and is scheduled to be ready to begin operations in the first quarter of 2026, according to ASM Chief Technology Officer Hichem M’Saad.
