A 2.5-acre addition to Mekong Plaza will be discussed at the 3 p.m. study session and 4 p.m. Jan. 27 meeting of the Mesa Planning and Zoning Board.

A site plan review and adding a bonus intensity zone overlay to general commercial rezoning is being sought for the commercial project on the west side of the 100 block of South Dobson Road. Rick Daughtery of Phoenix-based 3rd Story Architecture is the applicant and WJC LLC is the owner.

A 32,670-square-foot shell building is planned for future commercial/retail use on a vacant lot of 2.44 net acres, according to a project narrative from 3rd Story.
