As we kick off a new year and the 57th legislative session, it's the perfect time to think about the kind of Arizona we want.
As your newly elected senator for Legislative District 4, I want to express my gratitude for the trust you've placed in me. Representing the citizens of Paradise Valley, Phoenix and Scottsdale is an honor and a responsibility I don't take lightly.
I have been appointed to chair of Health and Human Services and vice chair of Education. My experience as a Scottsdale Unified School District board member has given me a firsthand understanding of how to support our public schools while respecting parents' rights to choose the best educational environment for their children.
My priorities this session include lowering the cost of living for Arizona families, supporting small businesses across our district, and streamlining government processes to reduce unnecessary regulations and promote economic growth.
Public safety remains a cornerstone of my commitment to our community. I will advocate for resources to support our law enforcement officers and will work tirelessly to combat the fentanyl crisis that has impacted so many families in our state.
As your senator, I understand that I am here to serve you. My door is always open, and I welcome your input as we work together to build a stronger, safer and more prosperous Arizona.
