A piece of artwork on display for the Scottsdale Waterfront Art and Wine Festival has been reported stolen, according to Scottsdale Police.
The work, entitled “Rhapsody in Blues Wheel” was left in an unsecured area around 5 p.m. Jan. 31.and when the owner, artist Charles Shermann, returned, around 9: 30 a.m. Feb. 1, it was missing, according to police.
The 18-inch by 18-inch by 4-inch sculpture was valued in the police report as worth $2,400. Sherman is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the theft.
