It was a fantasy for one Sun City West artist to live off selling paintings.
For Gail Wagner, the chance to create something to be commissioned for the Recreation Centers of Sun City West was a great opportunity. She said it was a fun piece to put together alongside Richard Stackhouse. The “Crimson Moments” piece is alcohol ink infused on white metal and coated with resin.
This piece as well as the location was selected by the Arts & Design Committee and was purchased for $1,200, which Wagner said is the cost of creating the piece. The artwork is located inside the Kuentz Recreation Center, 14401 R.H. Johnson Blvd.
