Arthur Howard Johnson, the youngest child of Norwegian immigrants Thomas and Thordis Johnson, passed away January 3, 2018 in Phoenix, AZ. Art was born September 17, 1932 in Cleveland, OH, and grew up in Parma, OH. On September 22, 1951, Art married June Greetham, they had four children together. Life for Art was with his children doing school activities, coaching and attending baseball games, learning to golf and then teaching his sons this beloved sport, that he enjoyed until his 80th birthday. Saying Art loved music would be an understatement, learning to play the harmonica early in his life lead to a lifelong joy for him and his family. Art is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, June, daughter, Marilyn (Paul) Culler, son, Larry (Lynne) Johnson, granddaughters Dawn (Damion) Crannis and Terry Beth Culler, great-grandchildren Kiley, Sophia, Charlotte, and Quintin and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his children, Terry and Amy Beth Johnson, his parents, brothers Tom and Harold, and sister, Hazel Styles. We all wish he could have stayed, but we have all been blessed to have had this wonderful man in our lives.Art did not want any fuss or funeral, but would be thrilled if people contributed to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation-Rainbow Chapter (Cleveland).
