Art burglar sentenced to prison and probation

A California man who pleaded guilty of trying to steal $250,000 worth of art work from a Scottsdale gallery last year was sentenced to five years in prison today.

However, Harpreet Singh, 33, was given 433 days credit for time served.

Singh was also sentenced to three and a half years of probation to begin once he gets out of prison for removing an ankle bracelet monitoring his location and fleeing back to Nevada.
