Arson suspect in woman’s death arrested: Phoenix police

Phoenix police detectives have arrested a 59-year-old man in connection with the death of a woman who died in a house fire on Nov. 9.

The arrest of Wayne Tweed came after a daylong investigation.

Detectives found Tweed at a home Nov. 10 near the fire scene where Elizabeth Bell died, police said.

Tweed was booked in the Maricopa County Jail on counts of homicide, arson, kidnapping, assault and drug offenses, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office.
