Arriving for the big game: Valley airports prep for Super Bowl influx

Local airports are gearing up for the influx of visitors expected during Super Bowl weekend.

That doesn’t just mean Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, which will see tens of thousands of people flying in and out. Local airports that can handle private jets also will be seeing a jump in traffic.

Super Bowl LVII on Feb. 12 is hosted by the city of Glendale at State Farm Stadium.
