Last year the West Valley set the Girl Scouts cookies standard, and they’re at it again this time around.
Participating Girl Scouts across central and northern Arizona sold more than 2.6 million boxes of cookies in 2022, building entrepreneurial skills along the way. Girl Scouts Arizona Cactus-Pine Council – which serves more than 20,000 girls in grades K-12 – saw the top selling troop, Troop 558 in Peoria, sell 64,886 boxes of cookies, good for first in Arizona.
And the top individual seller in the whole council in 2022 was Kaitlyn Van Der Werf of Glendale, representing Troop 2232. She sold 7,788 boxes of cookies, and begins her 11th year in Girl Scouts in 2023.
