OPINION — With the enhanced ACA premium subsidies expiring, Arizonans face a critical moment for health care affordability. I recently wrote to Rep. Paul Gosar and Sens. Mark Kelly and Ruben Gallego, urging them to support a bipartisan compromise.
The reality is simple: something is better than nothing. A time-limited, targeted extension of subsidies — even with guardrails both parties can accept — would be far better than letting families face sharp premium increases and risk losing coverage entirely.
