Arizona warns of phishing campaign mimicking state, county authorities

A targeted social engineering, impersonation and phishing campaign is mimicking Arizona state and county authorities with “threat actors” registering lookalike.us’ domains,” officials said.

Some examples include az-doa.us and Maricopa-az.us “to masquerade as agency managers and administrators,” according to a release from the Arizona Procurement Portal.

Authorities advise individuals to report any suspicious activity associated with impersonation operation to contact azsoc@azdohs.gov.
