Colleges undecided on return-to-class mandates

Arizona colleges and universities are grappling with a decision of whether to require students returning in the fall to come back to campus with proof of a coronavirus vaccination.

Those potential decisions come as a handful of colleges and universities around the U.S. have made vaccinations a mandate for the fall semester.

Rutgers University announced March 25 it would require all students to receive the COVID-19 vaccine before stepping on its New Jersey campus for the coming academic year, becoming the first university to announce the mandate.
