Arizona troopers seize nearly 300 pounds of meth in I-10 traffic stops
The Arizona Department of Public Safety announced Friday that two traffic stops this month north of Tucson led to the seizure of nearly 300 pounds of methamphetamines.
On Wednesday evening, Sept. 7, DPS officials said a trooper stopped a driver on Interstate 10 near Red Rock.
A search of the car turned up approximately 266 pounds of methamphetamine hidden in the vehicle.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety announced Friday that two traffic stops this month north of Tucson led to the seizure of nearly 300 pounds of methamphetamines.
On Wednesday evening, Sept. 7, DPS officials said a trooper stopped a driver on Interstate 10 near Red Rock.
A search of the car turned up approximately 266 pounds of methamphetamine hidden in the vehicle.
Carlos D. Celaya, 23, of Tucson was arrested and booked into the Pinal County Jail on felony drug charges, authorities said.
Earlier that afternoon, a trooper stopped the driver of a Chevrolet sedan on I-10 westbound near Marana. Troopers found approximately 30.45 pounds of methamphetamine concealed in “non-factory compartments,” officials said.
Jesus R. Enriquez, 61, of Tucson was booked into the Pima County Jail on felony drug charges, according to DPS.
