After a record-breaking post-pandemic year, the Arizona State Fair is back for more.
The fair announced 2022 dates Tuesday, with the state’s biggest party running from Friday, Sept. 23 through Sunday, Oct. 30. The party is open Thursdays through Sundays at its traditional spot at 1826 W. McDowell Road, Phoenix.
The website carnivalwarehouse.com reports that the Arizona State Fair reached record heights with almost 1.6 million fair-goers. Coming out of the pandemic, the fair had added four days to make the event 22 days long, which paid off with a 25.9% attendance jump over 2019.
